My Work: Website Design and Digital Support for local businesses

Resonate Psychotherapy
– Lyminge, Kent

Chloe needed a website that felt calm and trustworthy – something that reflected the tone of her therapy practice and gave people a gentle, reassuring first impression.

I designed and built a responsive multi-page website for Resonate Psychotherapy shaped around Chloe’s warmth. The site was designed to help visitors quickly understand how Chloe works, what support she offers, and how to get in touch, without the website feeling heavy or overcomplicated.

The visual direction was kept soft and minimal, with careful typography, natural imagery and a simple structure that gives the content room to breathe. We also refined key areas like fees, availability and session information so the site feels more open and helpful from the start.

The website is now live, and the next steps will include building out Chloe’s blog and setting up her Google Business Profile to strengthen her visibility locally.

Black Sheep Knitwear
– Aylsham, Norfolk

Black Sheep was one of my first clients, and an important project in the early growth of my work. I redesigned the website as my first Shopify build, creating a cleaner and more user-friendly online store that gave the business a stronger foundation for selling online.

The aim was to improve the look of the site and creating a smoother shopping experience whilst keeping that classic Black Sheep feel. As an established heritage knitwear company that’s operated shopfront for over 50 years, it was important that the website felt clear and set up to support sales properly.

Alongside the website redesign, I also managed social media for the business across the Spring/Summer season of 2025, helping keep things visible during an important sales period. This helped support the wider goal of driving traffic and conversions through the off-season for this heritage knitwear.

It was a valuable project for me creatively and commercially, and one that helped shape the broader way I now support businesses online.

“Tom acted as a real catalyst for our business. Those extra views turned into more engagement and, ultimately, more sales. He’s easy to work with and great at pointing out the simple things that are often overlooked.”

Snippers & Clippers
– Lyminge, Kent

I’ve worked closely with Tracey at Snippers & Clippers to help strengthen the salon’s overall online presence. Alongside the website, I’ve continued to support Snippers & Clippers in a wider marketing role too.

This has included ongoing Google Business Profile optimisation and management, social media support, and graphic design for printed materials – such as review posters and in-salon promotional pieces.

This began with the design and build of a new website, shaped around Tracey, her team, and the welcoming feel of the salon itself. The aim was to create something clear and more reflective of the lovely ladies behind it – giving both new and existing clients a simple way to view the services available, and book.

The result is a business with stronger local visibility, more enquiries coming in, and successful outreach that has helped support further growth in the team.

MW Sports Therapy
– Lyminge, Kent

Miranda needed a simple but professional online presence for MW Sports Therapy – something clear and credible that would help her get the business off the ground and make it easy for people to enquire.

I designed and built a one-page website focused around a straightforward customer journey, with clear sections covering her services, approach and contact details. The aim was to create something that felt strong and well-presented without overcomplicating it, giving the business a solid foundation from day one.

Because this was for a new local service business, it was important that the site worked well on mobile and gave visitors a clear view of what Miranda offers, leading visitors to get in touch.

It’s a strong example of the kind of one-page website that works well for a business in its early stages – simple, focused and built to do its job well.

Eleanor Read Garden Design
– Barham, Kent

I worked with Eleanor to create a portfolio-led website that could properly reflect the beauty, quality, and individuality of her garden design work.

The site was designed to showcase her projects clearly and elegantly, allowing the work itself to speak while still giving potential clients a good sense of Eleanor’s approach and style. Because garden design is such a competitive and visually led market, it was important that the website felt calm and considered throughout.

Since launch, I’ve continued to support Eleanor with ongoing performance and SEO reviews on a quarterly basis, helping refine the site over time and target local keyword opportunities within a highly saturated market. That has included reviewing how the site is performing on Google and identifying ways to strengthen visibility. Then, making improvements that help the website work harder.

The result is a website that not only presents her work beautifully, but is also helping generate enquiries in a competitive space.

WL Hydrotherapy
– Stelling Minnis, Kent

I worked with Jill to help bring WL Hydrotherapy to life from the ground up, supporting the launch of a new not-for-profit hydrotherapy facility with a clear, accessible online presence.

The website was designed as a thoughtful one-page build, shaped around accessibility and trust. Because the service itself is so personal it needed to answer questions clearly and make it easy for people to understand what WL Hydrotherapy offers before getting in touch.

Alongside the website, I also created and manage the business’s Google Business Profile, helping establish a strong local presence early on. This has played an important role in generating regular enquiries and helping the business become visible to the right people locally. WL Hydrotherapy now ranks at the top of local search results for hydrotherapy, and the organisation has gone on to build a steady flow of bookings and returning clients.

It’s been a really meaningful project to be part of – not just building a website, but helping launch something genuinely valuable for the local community.

Tamzin Reid Coaching
– Biddenden, Kent

Tamzin needed more than just a website. She needed an online space that felt supportive – especially for neurodivergent people who can often feel overwhelmed by cluttered or confusing websites.

I’ve designed her a site with clear pathways for the different people she works with, including parents of aspiring athletes, coaches and leaders, and neurodivergent adults. The focus has been on making the experience feel human, accessible and easy to move through, while still giving visitors a clear sense of how Tamzin can help.

Alongside the website itself, I’ve also supported Tamzin with the wider digital setup behind the business – including booking system integration, Mastermind automations, offer setup, email flows and lead capture. This has helped bring the different parts of her programmes together so that enquiries, sign-ups and follow-up communication feel much more joined up and professional.

It’s been an ongoing project with a lot of moving parts, and a strong example of the kind of support I can offer beyond the website itself – helping the wider systems behind the business work properly too.

Friendly Seeds Ltd
– Elham, Kent

I’ve worked with Pip and Ed at Bee Friendly Seeds across both the creative and lead generation side of the business, helping strengthen how the brand looks, and to try and reach new opportunities.

My support began with redesign work across the website and branding, helping the business feel better aligned with the quality of the products themselves. From there, the role expanded into lead generation and email outreach, with a focus on building new business-to-business relationships and creating more meaningful opportunities for growth.

This work has already led to successful new wholesale connections, including two other businesses now buying seeds in bulk. I’ve also supported outreach into the wedding space, which has helped Bee Friendly Seeds secure recommended supplier listings with two well-known local wedding venues.

It’s been a great example of the kind of support I enjoy most. Not just improving the presentation of a business – actively helping it grow through clearer positioning, better outreach, and more strategic online support.
